What will your legacy be?
Most people I know want to make a difference in the world.
They want to know that their time on this planet mattered, and they want to leave some type of legacy behind.
No matter what you want your personal legacy to be, one of the best ways to shape it is by giving back through philanthropy.
Inside this month’s AquilaWealth Visual Insights Newsletter we explore 7 key questions you can use to help you unlock your values and use the power of philanthropy to help shape your legacy.
How does giving support your values?

One of the best examples of a charitable legacy is the Giving Pledge.1
This pledge was started in 2010 by Bill and Melissa Gates and is for billionaires who want to make a commitment to give away at least half of their fortunes during or after their lifetime.
More than 200 billionaires from around the world have already signed the pledge—including Warren Buffett, MacKenzie Bezos, Ted Turner, and Michael R. Bloomberg.
The power of the pledge isn’t just about the money being directed toward solving the world’s most pressing problems.
It’s also about inspiring others to make philanthropy a core value.
You don’t have to be a billionaire to create a powerful difference in the world. You just have to commit and inspire those around you.
You might be surprised by how little it takes to generate lasting change when it’s done strategically. (We talk about it at length in this month’s newsletter.)
Have we talked about your giving strategy? If not, would you like to discuss it?
Sincerely,
